Delicious. So delicious that I forgot to photograph the finished product. I used Garden of Eating's recipe which is based on Smitten Kitchen's recipe. I made a few changes to the list of ingredients and to the preparation:
- 5 oz fresh spinach
- 1/2 large yellow onion
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 loaf French bread
- 4 oz smoked cheddar
- 1 oz grated Parmesan
- 1 cup reduced fat milk (2%)
- 3 medium eggs
- no Worcestershire sauce
- I did not chill the ingredients before baking and only baked the dish for 30 minutes.
